Duke Creative is always looking for great freelance photographers, designers and programmers (in the USA) to work with.

We’re looking for edgy, bold, perfectionist creatives that know how to make a product, ad or website look great. You need to be able to work as a team member. You need to be able to take piece of the puzzle and turn it into a finished product under pressure and tight deadlines. Most applicants don’t fit this description. If you do, we’d love to talk to you about what we’re working on and where we’re going.

Photographers: You need to have a strong understanding of effective product photography lighting and be an advanced level Photoshop user. You need to know how to place subtle emphasis on the special parts of a product. Your photos can’t be good. They have to be great. Also, sometimes we photograph unloaded firearms in the studio. Sometimes we photograph shooting events and competitors with loaded guns on live fire ranges. While we follow multiple precautions to keep everyone safe, you need to be OK with all of that.

Programmers: You need to be versatile. You need to be able to work with PHP, MySQL, ASP, HTML, Linux and Windows servers, WordPress, Drupal, Magento, and popular hosted e-commerce sites. You also need to be able to work quickly and be security minded. You should also know how to work with Google Merchant, Google Analytics, Google Website Optimizer and have a strong understanding of SEO.

Designers: You need to be a really strong Illustrator and Photoshop user. We need to see your portfolio. You need to be able to take an ad idea, some copy, and photographs and then build a visually appealing ad around it. You need to understand the design process and the printing process. You need to have worked on catalogs, print ads, web ads and vehicle wraps.
